Page 21: Brotherhood Without Banners

The Brotherhood Without Banners is an outlaw organization working against Lannister interests in the Riverlands during the War of the Five Kings. Their goal is to protect the interests of the common folk regardless of what king or lord they support.

Following the Red Wedding, the Brotherhood Without Banners is one of the few surviving groups that resist the Lannister rule of the Seven Kingdoms.

When the Brotherhood ambushes Arya and her group they mistake her for a war refugee and invites them to join them. They also capture Sandor Clagane who identifies Arya and consequently, the Brotherhood makes Arya their captive. Meanwhile Gendry (King Robert's bastard) joins the Brotherhood. 

Beric Dondarrion is Lord of Blackhaven in the Stormlands (previously held by House Baratheon). He is the leader of the Brotherhood.

Gendry Baratheon joins the Brotherhood.
